The USA Pet Health Network is FREE to join; all that is required is a computer and an internet connection. The USA Pethealth Network is uniquely structured to provide participating veterinarians with a new and innovative source of new clients, without incurring any marketing costs. All of the pet owners who will have access to the Network are drawn from an ever increasing pool of adopters of cats and dogs from participating animal welfare organizations. Having just adopted a new pet the first thing a new pet owner will be looking for is a veterinarian to care for their pets ongoing preventative care, maintenance and health issues. Prior to leaving the participating animal welfare organization these new pet owners will be provided with a number of products and services:
A) Each pet will be provided with a 30-day gift of ShelterCare Pet Insurance. This insurance provides coverage for the 11 accidents and illnesses that are most common in newly adopted pets - if these animals are brought to your clinic within 30-days of adoption you can take comfort in the fact that they have medical insurance. The Pethealth team will work to encourage adopters to extend their insurance into a more comprehensive insurance product, ensuring that your new clients will be financially prepared to pay for best medical treatment available in their pet's time of need.
B) Most pets will be microchipped and registered in the 24PetWatch pet recovery network. This 24 hour service offers an exclusive pet recovery service including pro-active real time searches of hundreds of animal welfare organizations in lost pet emergencies. Pet owners can also log their pet's medical information into the on-line system, making it available for emergency veterinary teams.
C) Each pet owner will be offered the opportunity to purchase a ShelterCare Card which ensures them preferred pricing on all veterinary costs incurred at USA Pethealth Network participating clinics.
